Feel the Results

Fibre is underrated, but the benefits cannot be overstated.

Feeds gut microbes

Gut bacteria break down prebiotics to make compounds that help digestion and support the immune system.

These compounds include short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which are widely studied for their role in gut health.

FAQs

How do I take it?

You can mix Fibre Foundation into drinks or food once daily, and gradually build up to the number of servings that feels best for your digestion.

  • Start with 1 serving (5 g, roughly a heaped teaspoon) per day and see how your gut responds.
  • You can have up to 4 servings per day as part of a balanced diet, increasing slowly over time if you want more support for regularity.
  • Stir it into a large glass of water and drink straight away, or mix it into oats, yoghurt, coffee or smoothies – it is neutral in taste and designed to blend easily without grittiness.
  • Because it absorbs water, drink plenty of fluids across the day to support comfortable, regular digestion.

Does prebiotic fibre matter?

Prebiotic fibre is a type of fibre that your body can’t digest, but your gut bacteria can – it acts as “food” for the helpful microbes in your colon. When these bacteria ferment prebiotic fibres, they produce short‑chain fatty acids (like butyrate, acetate and propionate) that help fuel the gut lining, reduce inflammation and support a healthy gut barrier.

A regular intake of prebiotic fibre has been linked with better digestive comfort, improved stool regularity and a more diverse, resilient microbiome. Studies also associate prebiotic intake with benefits such as improved mineral absorption, healthier cholesterol and blood sugar markers, and support for weight management over time.

In short, getting enough prebiotic fibre helps keep your gut ecosystem in balance, which is increasingly recognised as a foundation for overall health and wellbeing

What’s the difference between prebiotics and probiotics?

Prebiotics and probiotics work together for gut health, but they are not the same thing.

Probiotics are live beneficial bacteria found in certain foods (like yoghurt, kefir, sauerkraut) and supplements that can help top up or rebalance the microbes in your gut.

Prebiotics are special types of fibre that your body can’t digest but your gut bacteria can – they act as “food” for the good bacteria you already have. Put simply, probiotics add more good bacteria, while prebiotics feed and strengthen them so they grow and do their job properly.

For most people, a fibre‑rich diet that includes plenty of prebiotic fibres is a sustainable way to support a healthy microbiome, with probiotic foods or supplements layered on when needed (for example after antibiotics, or on medical advice).

Will this cause bloating or gas?

Most people find Fibre Foundation very gentle to tolerate. It’s built around Sunfiber® (PHGG), a well‑researched, low‑FODMAP soluble fibre that ferments slowly, which helps reduce the sudden gas and bloating you might get from harsher fibres. If your gut is very sensitive, start low (¼–½ serving) and increase gradually so your digestion has time to adjust.

How is this different from psyllium / typical fibre supplements?

Typical fibre supplements (like psyllium husk or inulin blends) often work by bulking and can ferment quickly, which may lead to bloating or cramping for people with sensitive guts. Fibre Foundation is built around Sunfiber® (PHGG), a clinically studied, low‑FODMAP prebiotic fibre that ferments more slowly and is generally well tolerated, even in those who struggle with standard fibre supplements. Instead of a big “bulk” hit, this gentle daily fibre supplement focuses on soluble fibres that steadily feed your gut bacteria, supporting regularity and long‑term gut health without making a fuss.

How long before I notice a difference?

This is designed for gradual change, not immediate relief.

Some people notice changes within weeks; for others it takes longer. Consistency matters more than speed.

Customer Testimonials

David C - I wanted to give the product at least 3 weeks before writing a review. I have not been disappointed and can feel positive results. I researched a variety of suggestions for symptoms I had been having and this product makes sense, a prebiotic versus a probiotic. The daily intake feeds your natural resident gut microbiota with natural fermentable substrates in order to maintain them and reduce inflammation caused when microbes may start breaking down the gut’s protective mucus layer. I take 3 teaspoons into a large glass of water and drink that in the morning, I refill the glass and stir to make sure I have drank enough water and that the glass is clear of any residual product. The drink is tasteless and I notice that the product absorbs water so best to drink straight away and make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day. So 3 weeks in and I do feel my gut health and gastrointestinal transit is regular and healthy. So if you have irregular bloating and an irritable digestive tract then I recommend giving this product a try.

JT - Have suffered with ongoing constipation for about 3 years (since starting perimenopause), when I say I have tried everything I am not lying! So was sceptical trying another thing, however I have finished the trial package of Fibre Foundation and ordered the next size up. I did email George as I had a few queries and he was very helpful. It is still early days but I do feel that things may be improving - slowly (I am good with this as long as the trajectory is moving forward!). Fibre Foundation is really easy to take, I can mix it into anything, no bad after taste and feels good in my gut, no bloating and no wind. So from someone who feels they have tried everything I am hopeful this may really help.

Nick C - George was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in communication with which product to choose. Very prompt with replies. Only just started taking the fibre foundation gentle daily blend. Will need to give it a few months to judge efficacy. It mixes easily in smoothies which is how l use it. Would recommend company for excellent customer service.
